Cowhorn Arrangements
The 'Cowhorn Arrangement' of selector valve and twin sets of pressure relief valves and/or flame arresters, is intended for use on digesters where overpressure and explosion protection is required. By utilising a selector valve, one set of arrester and valve combination can be maintained whilst the other is in service.
Emergency Relief Vents
Non-sparking emergency relief vents permit access to low pressure storage tanks and provide emergency venting capacity in the event of fire. They are used extensively on bulk storage tanks, including floating roof tanks, low pressure gas pipeline systems, digesters, and gas holders.
Pressure & Vacuum Relief Valves
Direct acting pressure / vacuum relief valves, or breather valves are special types of relief valves which are specifically designed for tank protection. The range includes pressure only, vacuum only and combined pressure / vacuum valves, all available with flanged outlets or vented to atmosphere.
Gauge Hatches
Gauge hatches allow easy access to bulk liquid storage tanks for manual level measurement and sampling. Lockable versions are available.

End of Line Flame Arresters
End-of-line deflagration arresters are designed to be installed at the end of a pipeline or exit vent from a vessel, where the ignition source is external, to provide protection against atmospheric deflagration.
Inline Flame Arresters
Inline deflagration arresters are designed to prevent propagation of flames in gas or vapour mixtures in a pipeline. Inline flame arresters must be placed close to the potential source of ignition.
Detonation Arresters
Inline unstable detonation arresters are designed to prevent propagation of detonations in gas or vapour mixtures. Detonation arresters are specifically designed for pipelines with a significant distance between the ignition source and the arrester, or for use where the pipe is rough, bent, obstructed or has section changes.
Microbore Arresters
Microbore flame arresters are specially designed for the protection of gas sampling and analysis equipment where flammable vapours are present. Many other applications involving small bore pipework can be protected from explosion risk using microbore arresters.
