End of Line Deflagration Flame Arresters
Elmac Technologies® can supply different types of end of line deflagration arresters, suitable for a wide variety of industries and applications. AVA, FE-EXH, and AVC arresters have replaceable elements and are suitable for IIA, IIB3, and IIC gas groups respectively. SV and SVE arresters are small, light-duty arresters with fixed elements, whilst FE-IE arresters are for use with pressure and/or vacuum relief valves.

 End-of-Line Deflagration Arresters
End-of-line deflagration arresters are designed to be installed at the end of a pipeline or exit vent from a vessel, where the ignition source is external, to provide protection against atmospheric deflagration.

 End of Line Deflagration Arrester for use with Pressure/Vacuum Relief Valves
FE-IE series end-of-line deflagration arresters are designed to be used in conjunction with pressure/vacuum relief valves, to prevent propagation of flames in gas or vapour mixtures. FE-IE arresters are specifically designed to be located below the inlet of a pressure/vacuum relief valve, thereby providing an extra layer of tank protection.
